corazón

This is the abstraction of deeply connected feelings that one can have for one another. The color gradient shows the tolerance for every form of love and the gold shows the value of each individual connection. You can see several outlines of a heart and two wider lines (the two lovers) that run from the left/bottom into the middle of the heart. In the upper left half there is a small optical secretion, similar to a stone. It shows the danger (routine, everyday stress, or similar). This is counteracted by the arrangement of a hand, which wraps itself protectively around the heart from the bottom right. The black ridges symbolize the disappearance of the lovers‘ personal walls as both hearts steadily intertwine.

Atomic Flowers

In the case of a documentary about thorium, the image would be completely constructed in my mind’s eye and the topic was current over 70 years ago. I started this artwork in January and realized the impact of my work a few weeks later. We are aware of the consequences and we carry on undeterred, but we can hardly defend ourselves against it. The newspaper Main Echo writes the following about this picture after visiting an exhibition: At the center of their exhibition, the two artists have placed Donnaray’s depiction of a mushroom cloud from which flowers sprout. Below it is the inscription: Pres(id)ent for the Next, a play on words between ‚President for the Next‘ and ‚Gift for the Next‘. What seems absolutely topical in view of the Russian attack on Ukraine shows the artist’s foresight.

NOTICE – NO ICE – NOT NICE

This is a comparison between a commercially available water ice cream and the ice, which turns into water due to global warming. The signs of climate change We see and know it, but we usually do little to change it. About this work of art I was recently told that more sustainable behavior doesn’t help anyway because… All other people don’t change their actions either. That’s too bad, Because changes often bring success, but always insights.

1 UP

Do you know the moment when you were very close to the screen as a child? Have you walked through the television and seen the individual color pixels? At this age you usually don’t recognize the holistic and the former Televisions certainly no longer exist today. Just for this moment this work was created. About media information and objects to consume more consciously.

Ironman

Part 1 of 3:  In this triptych I was looking for expressive motifs that should form a connection. This image typically represents strength and invulnerability, but also arrogance. So a superhero who seems aloof. The basic idea is a relationship between three people who couldn’t be more different. The intertwining of relationships and the certainty of an imminent end for one of the people.

Toadman

Part 2 of 3: The most important feature is the characteristics of the characters in this series of pictures. Behind the toad man is a funky, cheeky and partying guy. He rarely takes anything seriously, but he has a good heart. The last part is in progress and will clarify the connection of the triptych in more detail

…picture 28

The basis for this picture is the number 28. At that time, this number was shown to me on every corner. Strange things arose in connection with the number 28. A medium even interpreted this number to me as follows: Two stands for two beings or two halves of a whole, for a connection that is of great importance and to which I should pay attention. Both numbers have a direct connection. The number eight represents the circle of life. For a positive development. The lying eight is one of humanity’s most powerful symbols and also the symbol of infinity. The work is the abstraction of the 2 and the 8. When it comes to the colors, I chose subtle and light tones in reference to the supernatural. I illustrated the lack of insight into this situation with a special effect: it glows in the dark.

punk

This work was created after probably the longest creative break I have ever had. It shows a well-known broke vulture and is a homage to my rebellious times in the 90s. A small but nice image with metallic effects, matt red and black overlay.
